What should I expect from a reading?

Readings are done over a private Zoom meeting with Stephanie. Usually both people have their cameras on so it seems like an in person chat, but if you would like to leave yours off, several people do and thats totally fine. :-)

Depending on which reading you booked, Stephanie will be bouncing back and forth between asking you questions about your personal life, and placing your answer upon your chart to help you navigate through whatever aspect of life you would like to focus on. A lot of people have said Stephanie’s readings are better than therapy! Come prepared to open up and deep dive into the map of you. Your reading is private, safe, and always a non-judgmental space.

Want to look at a little bit of everything? Perfect! She will go over every placement in your chart while you relax and enjoy.

We know birth chart readings are like hearing a second language, so Stephanie does her best to simplify what each planet/sign/house means. Questions are encouraged and welcomed!

She takes notes during your reading for “Key Takeaways” that she will email you after your session. Consider these the signatures of your chart for homework to research further!

Which reading should I choose?

Basic Birth Chart Reading: this is the classic consultation for anyone brand new to Astrology. Steph loves beginners! Come confused, leave with clarity. No question is stupid!

Advanced Birth Chart Reading: This is the reading we advise for people who are at least familiar with their big 3: Sun sign, Moon sign, and Rising sign. In this reading we go over every single planet, specifically focusing on one’s you may be struggling with at the moment. We end the reading with a Progressed Chart to see what the next 2 years look like!

Relationship Composite: This is a reading for two charts, usually a romantic couple, to see what the point of the relationship is. This reading can outline your strengths, weaknesses, past life, and destiny as a couple. Again — people have said this is better than couples therapy! *Can be booked for parent/child, friends, any time of 1:1 relationship.

Solar Return Birthday Reading: This is a fun reading for your birthday! Great for beginners or people seasoned in the stars. Did you know a brand new chart is drawn every year on your birthday? The sky was different than your birth year, after all. This chart only lasts 365 until your next birthday, and it shows what energy is coming in for that particular year. Steph will explain what it means, and how to use it for your highest good. *Steph recommends booking this either 3 months before or after your birthday.

Spiritual Cleanse: In this reading we take a look at the asteroids in your birth chart. The planets are masculine, asteroids are feminine. This reading is very therapeutic; we look into asteroids that rule your relationship to mother, father, destiny, purpose, and the infamous black moon lilith. This reading is fine for beginners, or those well versed in the stars. Great “therapeutic” session for when you’re in a cocoon stage of healing…

Why are readings so expensive?

In full transparency — we know. The sticker price for a Birth Chart Reading can be shocking.
We’re here to pull the drapes back and explain why.
Astrologers, especially professionally trained ones like Stephanie, invest thousands of dollars into their Astrology education. A good sign of a great Astrologer is someone who continuously takes more courses to deepen their understanding and practice of reading charts. Stephanie annually takes at least 2 courses with professional, seasoned Astrologers to sharpen her knowledge & skills.
As of 2023, Stephanie has spent just over $8,000 for her Astrology education. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Leadership that she brings into her consultations as well. (we wont get into that cost. Woo student loans!)
The price an Astrologer charges also has to do with how many hours they have practiced giving readings.
As of 2023, Stephanie has reached over 2000 hours of 1:1 consultations with clients.
Lastly, when you book a 1 hour reading, it’s not just 1 hour that you’re paying for. Astrologers have to pull your chart and research it for 1-2 hours before your consultation! So all together, you’re paying for about 3 hours of service.

*Be careful when choosing an Astrologer. A lot of people will charge an excessive price for a reading, under the guise of being “self taught” — which is not to say they aren’t talented at what they do. But for your investment of time and money, you want to ensure you’re receiving a professional service from a well trained Astrologer. We do not recommend booking an Astrologer who’s price seems suspiciously low, either.
